 A lush passionflower introduce us to the IL Geco in una stanza B&B’s terrace. Our B&B lies in the Pigneto neighbour one of the fanciest and coolest neighbourhood in Rome. Pigneto is a mixture between new and old, past and future that’s why you can find fancies restaurant (Necci dal 1924 - the famous bar where Pierpaolo Pasolini used to go to, the excellent restaurant Primo, pizzeria Margarì, la Locanda dell'Interprete, the new cinema l'Aquila etc...) as well as old artisanal’s shops.

Sandwiched between via Casilina and via Prenestina, not far from the city center, the Pigneto is Rome’s new buzz-district. With its narrow streets and characteristic, low-rise houses it is laid-back but rough-edged. We are close to the main turistic attractions, nearby San Giovanni and San Lorenzo, the university district since La Sapienza, the main university of Rome, lies here. Here you can find whatever you want in matter of bars and amusement places, you can drink a good beer, listen live music and find places with great wines selections. We are also very close to Termini Railway Station and greatly connected to the "musts" of the eternal city: Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, Navona Square, Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, San Peter etc... Our strategic location allows you as well to visit alternatives itineraries of historical, gastronimic and cultural interest. You can have all this and much more spending at the same time your holidays in a peaceful and cosy place. We do our best to take care of you with kindness and in respect of your privacy.
